Hearing aid dryers - remove the moisture while you sleep

Cheap hearing aids are hard to find especially if you are looking at a digital hearing aid.  So if you require hearing instruments, you may as well take very good care of them so that they last as long as possible.  Hearing aid dryers are an excellent way to rid your devices of moisture and wax.  Audiologists often recommend the use of hearing aid dryers to improve the performance and extend the life of your hearing aids.

A hearing aid dryer is designed to lift moisture molecules from the sensitive parts of the hearing aid.  Often, warm air is circulated through the hearing device.  The circulating air is what picks up the moisture and removes it from the hearing aid.  The moisture is then carried to a specialized area where it is absorbed so it is not re-circulated into the hearing device.

With many hearing aid dryers, you can leave your hearing aid batteries in place.  Some dryers also have the ability to sanitize your hearing aids which will also contribute to longer lasting devices.  A good dryer will also assist you in cleaning out wax buildup which is always an issue with hearing aids.  Just remember, the better care you give them, the longer they will last.
